Using the Tulip Plugs adds to:

• PLANT

Better fragmentation and improved floor conditions increase production while reducing maintenance of loading and hauling equipment. The reduction in fly rock levels reduces the distance that equipment needs to be moved for blasting operations. Saveing time and expensive equipment movements that hinder production.

• PRODUCTION

Loading and hauling becomes more effective and faster. More material of desired fragmentation is being moved faster from the mine to the mill, with the effect that throughput through the mill increases and production benefits (This is a much larger saving than the direct cost reduction due to the reduced drilling and explosive usage when using the 'Tulip Plugs')
